Lots of art, and strep throat

Today was a day filled with art!  In the morning we painted wooden boxes, and made get well cards for a member of the class.  In the afternoon teacher Vincent from Kids Art came and helped us draw a VW Bug driving over a cobblestone bridge in the mountains.  There were some fabulous drawings and creative mixes of colors!

Because of the extra art (and the lack of energy, we're still a little tired from our beach adventure) we didn't have math or science today, but we did have PE.  We played Sharks and Minnows, Spud, and a variation of keep away that we learned last Sports Day.

Unfortunately strep throat has come to our class.  If you, or anyone you come into contact with regularly has a fever, headache, or sore throat please seek medical advice immediately.  The sooner you start medication the faster you will get better, and we want everyone in our class to be healthy, happy, and back at school to join in the fun.

Have a great weekend!

A New Way to Communicate

The Summer School Age Program at Good Sam Preschool does a variety of fun and exciting activities every day.  It was suggested that I start a blog so that parents and friends can see what we have been up to!  I thought that was an excellent idea, so welcome to "A School Age Summer" a new blog full of the exciting plans of the Good Sam School-agers.  I hope to update every day with our daily activities, as well as amusing anecdotes about the day, and announcements about upcoming field trips.  Please feel free to post comments, but remember that in Miss Kristina's class we only practice good magic!  Here's to a successful Summer filled with lots of fun and learning.
