This post is brought to you by the letter I

"We had bagels. The bagels were yummy.  Then we went to Ranch 99 to get zucchini, bananas, and kiwis.  We are going to make muffins with the zucchini and bananas.  The kiwis were for snack.  We wrote in our journals about doing things.  We had the rainbow in our lunches.  After lunch we did fitness challenges and played games."

Miss Kristina: On a scale from 1-10 how fun was today?
I: A lot.
H: 100%
V: It was fun eating that kiwi!
C: 9 out of 10.
Sm: The same thing as V.

And we're back!  Another summer of fun activities, exciting field trips, and fantastic projects.  Check back here for updates on our activities and fantastic posts by the school-agers themselves!  We're going to write some poetry this summer, and the kids are excited to publish their writing online, and write about their favorite moments at day care.  A few of our friends are too old to come back, and we miss them, but there are some new faces, and many old friends.

Today we got our classroom organized, and decorated our calendars.  Those calendar boxes were awfully full of fun activities planned for the weeks ahead.  We'll look at our calendars every day, learning and reinforcing the days of the week.
